NIGERIA'S CAPITAL CITY

                                                                         ABUJA
Abuja the Capital City of  Nigeria. Located in the center of Nigeria, within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Abuja became Nigeria's Capital on 12th December 1991; Replacing Lagos (Nigeria's Commercial City) which remains the nations most populous City. The 2006 Census recorded a population of 776,298 (Abuja), which makes it one of the Ten most Populous Cities in Nigeria. With Satellite Towns Such As: Lugbe, Suleja, Karu Urban Area, Gwagwalada, Kuje. The Unofficial Metropolitan Area of Abuja has a population of Three Million and Comprises the fourth Largest Urban Area in Nigeria, Surpassed only by Lagos, Kano, Ibadan.
